Lucretia

Transparent glass, stacked like an architecture of light.

Clear glass tubes are layered neatly, catching every ray of light without ever holding it back. Light passes through, fragments, emerges in pure lines. Lucrezia is as much a geometric sculpture as it is a luminaire.

Inspiration

Lucrezia is inspired by the Venetian glassmaking tradition, crossed with the geometric lines of Art Deco: the transparency of the glass, the rigor of stacked volumes, the elegance without superfluous ornamentation. A decorative vocabulary born on the lagoon, reinterpreted by the modernity of the Roaring Twenties.
